THRACO-MACEDONIAN REGION. Uncertain. Circa 500-480 BC. Diobol (Silver, 12 mm, 1.30 g). Forepart of a horse to right. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Gemini IX (2012), 84 (same obverse die, as 'Bisaltae') = Tsintsifos p. 155, 10 (as 'Sermyliaoi in Pangaion'). Tzamalis 81. Very rare. Beautifully toned and unusually nice. Extremely fine.
